DOE Grid Modernization – Northeast Regional Workshop

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is convening six regional workshops nationwide as part of its Grid Modernization Initiative. The Northeast Region workshop, at Boston’s Marriott Long Wharf, solicits stakeholders’ input on the DOE’s grid-related research and emerging policy issues. The workshops will include feedback on the Department’s Grid Modernization Multi-Year Program Plan (MYPP) and its six technical areas:

  1. Devices and Integrated Systems
  2. Sensing and Measurement
  3. System Operations and Control
  4. Security and Resilience
  5. Design and Planning Tools
  6. Institutional Support
